Shipping Policy
Overview
This Shipping Policy outlines the terms and conditions for shipping and delivery of products purchased from Linku Trade. As a commercial kitchen equipment supplier serving restaurants, food chains, and commercial kitchens, all shipping terms are individually negotiated and documented in your purchase contract.
Shipping Terms Are Contract-Based
For all orders, shipping arrangements are mutually agreed upon and documented in your purchase contract. Your contract will specify:
- Incoterms: EXW, FOB, CIF, or other agreed terms
- Carrier: Designated shipping carrier(s)
- Shipping Cost: Which party bears the cost
- Delivery Schedule: Agreed shipping and delivery timeline
- Tracking Information: How to track your shipment
- Title and Risk of Loss: When ownership transfers to buyer
No shipping terms are binding unless explicitly stated in your signed contract or order confirmation.
Order Volume Considerations
Shipping arrangements vary based on order quantity. Your contract will reflect the specific terms for your order volume:
- Sample Orders (1-10 units): Typically shipped via express courier. Terms specified in invoice or proforma.
- Small Bulk Orders (11-50 units): Express courier or air freight. Contract terms apply.
- Medium Bulk Orders (51-200 units): Sea freight or air freight. Contract terms apply.
- Large Bulk Orders (200+ units): Sea freight (FCL/LCL). Custom shipping arrangements per contract.
Note: These are general guidelines. Final shipping terms are always governed by your specific contract.
Processing Time
Order processing time is determined on a per-order basis and specified in your contract. Processing timelines depend on factors such as order volume, product availability, and customization requirements.
Please refer to your contract for the agreed processing schedule.
Delivery Timeline
Delivery timelines are negotiated individually and documented in your purchase contract. Factors that may influence delivery include:
- Shipping method selected (express, air, sea)
- Destination country and region
- Customs clearance requirements
- Carrier schedules and availability
The agreed delivery timeline will be clearly stated in your contract. We are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control, including customs holds, carrier delays, or force majeure events.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on your specific order and documented in your contract. Cost factors include:
- Order volume, weight, and dimensions
- Shipping method selected
- Destination and delivery requirements
- Any special handling or expedited processing
All shipping costs will be clearly communicated and agreed upon before your order is confirmed.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
International shipments may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees imposed by the destination country. Unless otherwise specified in your contract, these charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
We recommend checking with your local customs office for information on potential charges. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or for any duties or taxes assessed.
Tracking Information
Tracking availability depends on the shipping method and carrier specified in your contract. For express courier shipments, tracking information will be provided. For sea freight shipments, tracking may be limited to bill of lading (BOL) and vessel information.
Your contract will specify what tracking information will be provided and when.
